Having a Ball With Boxwoods!

BALL. ORB. SPHERE. GLOBE.

Call it what you will but this is the "little black dress" of home decor. It's a staple that can be used in a number of different ways.

"What ways are you talking about?" Let me show you.

Setting one in an outdoor container on either side of your front door makes a bold statement.

Fill a birdcage with orbs to "fill the void" of where a feathered friends usually reside.

Capture one inside a cloche, with or without a base.

Make your own topiary with three orbs of varying sizes. To learn how, go here: http://blog.consumercrafts.com/decor-home/boxwood-diy-topiary/

Group a variety of orbs together for a centerpiece.

Set orbs atop candleholders, which would look splendid sitting atop a mantle.

I'm aware that these are succulents but you could always do this with the orbs.

I say "boxwoods" but these globes are also made to look like grass, eucalyptus, pine, asparagus, tea leaves, thyme, moss and even flowers such as lavendar.

Let your imagination run wild...let me know how you would incoporate them into your decor.
