Christmas in July at Trees n Trends

We thought we'd jump on the bandwagon. It seems like everyone else is celebrating Christmas in July, why not Trees n Trends? And after looking over our weekly ad, I came up with the perfect way to join in with the semi-yearly festivities.

This week in our everyday ad, we have a 30" cone-shaped boxwood in a pot (item #LQB046 GR). It's made to hang on your walls (the pot is flat in the back), but I thought it'd be great to make it into a Christmas door hanger. To do this, I'll need a few things.

#1. Spray paint

I spray painted the pot gold but you have my permission to spray paint it any color you'd like. In fact, if you're feeling jolly, paint it to look like a candy cane or maybe even paint it red with a big black buckle on the front!



#2. Battery-operated lights

Year-round, we have battery-operated micro LED lights at the store that are perfect for this very idea. I strung the lights around the boxwood and hid the battery pack behind it. 

#3. Tree Topper

Finally, I found a tree topper that I bought at the store last year that was just the right size.
