Vibrant Porch

Spring colors are all around us as the season comes into full swing, so why not bring these colors to your front door as a welcome to brighter days ahead? It takes only a few pieces to transform a standard front porch – in our case, neutral door and exterior of the home – into a vibrant, fun entryway.

COLOR PAIRINGS

We thought that turquoise, yellow, pink with a touch of lime green and orange would be a fun way to get started updating the front door.

   

FOCAL POINT

The door itself will always be where the eye travels first because of its size and location. This neutral toned door is brightened up with a quaint door hanging featuring a pink flower with mesh details and a butterfly in a light turquoise, which a perfect complement to the rest of the décor.

We added a turquoise candle holder and accented it with a bright canary yellow candle, along with an orange to the left of the door. To balance the look, a yellow table with pink and lime green floral stems set in a glass jar with rope adornments is brought in to serve as an anchor to the right of the door.
